Zohar Shoef
After my Studies at the Vital Design Center in Tel-Aviv
I worked in various positions in design including three years as a design producer and project manager at Koren Visual Solutions, a studio that specializes in P.O.P (point of purchase) design
During that time I started working on my own projects of which these are the most significant:

Sitybike- second prize winner of the designboom folding chair competition at 2004

Shulchanaruch(set table)- exhibited at the Periscope design gallery at 2005

99:99- A group exhibition of designer chairs initiated and organized in cooperation with designers Luka Orr and Eli Chissick featuring 65 chair prototypes specially designed and produced by 24 designers to be exhibited and sold at the exhibition
The idea behind this one day initiative was to introduce designers and designer work to a wider public by offering the selection of unique works for a reasonable price.
It worked.
Almost all chairs where sold long before the end of the day.
Sitybike is a bike seat that when drawn out of it's place in the bike's frame, unfolds into a temporary chair with one simple gesture.
As second prize winner of the designboom folding chair competition, Sitybike was exhibited at the 100%design London at 2004
It was exhibited since, in several other shows and exhibitions in New-York, Tokio and Tel-Aviv

Shulchanaruch(Set-table) is a concept work examining the relationship between table and tableware
Both the table and everything on it where redesigned so they will fit perfectly together but in the process both lost their ability to serve separately
